Terms and Conditions
ClaimSnap service terms
Last updated 18 July 2026. These terms apply to agencies, authorised users and clients who access ClaimSnap.1. What ClaimSnap provides
ClaimSnap provides software that helps collect, check and organise insurance-policy information, incident details, photographs and documents. ClaimSnap is a technology provider. It is not an insurer, insurance broker, loss assessor, emergency service or legal adviser and does not decide whether a claim is covered, accepted or paid.
2. Accounts and authority
You must provide accurate registration details, protect your login credentials and promptly tell us about suspected unauthorised access. An agency representative confirms that they have authority to create the account and invite users. Users must only access information they are authorised to view.
3. AI-assisted features
AI may check image quality, identify missing items, extract text or other details and prepare draft summaries. AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate or inappropriate. It is a suggestion only. Users must review, correct and confirm extracted information before relying on it or sending it to a broker or insurer. ClaimSnap does not determine fault, liability, quantum or policy coverage.
4. Photos, documents and other people
You must only upload information that is relevant to the incident and that you are legally permitted to provide. Avoid photographing people unnecessarily. Where you provide another person’s personal information, you confirm that you have a lawful basis to do so and will give any notice or obtain any consent required by law.
5. Safety and emergencies
Do not take photographs where doing so is unsafe or unlawful. Call 000 for injuries, fire or immediate danger. ClaimSnap does not monitor reports in real time and must not be used as an emergency service.
6. No claim lodgement guarantee
Uploading information to ClaimSnap does not necessarily lodge a claim with an insurer and does not guarantee that a broker or insurer has received or accepted it. Users must check the status shown in ClaimSnap and follow any instructions from their broker or insurer.
7. Privacy and data
Personal information is handled as described in our Privacy Policy. Agencies are responsible for ensuring their use of ClaimSnap complies with applicable privacy, record-keeping and insurance obligations. We may use service providers to host, secure and process information, subject to appropriate contractual and security arrangements.
8. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the service, upload unlawful or malicious material, attempt to access another organisation’s information, interfere with security or use ClaimSnap to mislead a broker, insurer or another person. We may suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users, data or the service.
9. Availability and changes
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free availability. Features may change as the product develops. We may perform maintenance, address security risks and update these terms. Material changes will be notified where reasonably practicable.
10. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable rights under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent permitted by law, ClaimSnap is not liable for loss caused by inaccurate user information, unreviewed AI output, unsafe conduct, insurer or broker decisions, third-party services or events outside our reasonable control. Where liability can lawfully be limited, it is limited to resupplying the service or the reasonable cost of doing so.
11. Ending access
You may request account closure, subject to legal and contractual retention requirements. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, unlawful use, security risk or non-payment after giving notice where appropriate.
12. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Questions or complaints should be sent to the ClaimSnap contact nominated on the website. These terms should be reviewed by an Australian technology and financial-services lawyer before commercial launch.
